After a huge overtime win against the formerly undefeated-at-home Toronto Raptors, the Heat stand at 15-5. We saw the trio of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Justise Winslow really click as a unit again and put the clamps on the Raptors’ most proficient scorers, (Siakam shot 5/14, Lowry shot 2/18, Fred Van Vleet shot 5/16).

We finally get to see this version of the Heat in a grind-it-out crunch-time game. Positive Miami Heat Surprises: Ethan, Alf, Alex, Zach

After another home win, this time against the busted up New Orleans Pelicans, the Miami Heat now stand at 9-3, good for second in the Eastern Conference, (still ahead of the Bucks and Sixers). Kendrick Nunn had another game where he led the team in scoring, while the team as a whole continued to look very cohesive on the floor on both ends.

Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo Among East's Best Bigs (Cavs recap)

The Heat continue to beat up on bad teams despite missing multiple bodies, (although the Cavs had the 17th best Net Rating headed into this game). Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo continue to spearhead the effort on both ends. Kendrick Nunn is back to feeling himself after a good shooting game.
